Remember this beautiful mama who had her maternity portraits done last month... well her beautiful girl Grace has finally arrived!  At just 7 days old she was a precious tiny bundle.  I also got the pleasure of photographing her with her beautiful family and big brothers who were so proud of their new sister.  Grace was probably one of the most alert newborns I've ever photographed.  Such a sweetheart!

This cutie had just taken her first steps days before our session, so she was on the go!  I love taking a more natural approach to family sessions, especially when there are little ones involved.  We had a great time letting Maeve explore and I enjoyed capturing the family just being together.

After two boys, this gorgeous mama is finally expecting her first girl!  I have no doubt she'll have some amazing and protective big brothers!  I can't wait to photograph the newborn photos in just a few weeks!!!

I've had the pleasure of photographing these gorgeous girls since they were born.  This family is gorgeous, adorable, and oh so sweet and I was so excited to get the opportunity to finally do a family session for them.  It was also Brooklyn's 1st b-day so we set aside some time to get some extra special shots of her.  Love her feisty personality!

What 7 year old doesn't flip over American Girl?  I got to do birthday portraits for the beautiful Bree and she of course had to get her doll Sage in on the action.  Mom and Dad wanted a few family shots which I just love to do.  It's always a pleasure to capture the love a family has for each other.  Bree is one lucky girl to be so loved!

It's that time again... everyone is back to school and the class of 2014 is starting up their senior year.  This gorgeous beauty is off to college this year and I just have to show off her images that I never got around to sharing this past spring.  I love seniors and always have so much fun at their sessions and Gigi's was no exception.  She was full of spirit and her personality just shined.  Enjoy your Freshman year Gigi, I have no doubt you'll have an amazing college experience!

Randomness

Hi my name is Shari and I'm a perfectionist.  This is a great thing when it comes to my photography and the work I do for my clients... but not always so much when it comes to my blogging. I can't tell you how many blog posts I've started but never finished becuase they weren't quite perfect.  Then I get busy with the next job and a bit of time goes by and I feel like it's been too long, and then I have other things to post but feel like I should catch up before I do something new, and before you know it my poor blog is empty and unused and the job of updating it seems too daunting.  It's as if I'm no longer working and have fallen off the face of the earth.

Well guess what people, I'm very much alive and busily working!  To commemorate my aliveness, here's a post with a few random sessions that I never got around to blogging over the last... oh, we won't say how long. This will show you a little of what I've been up to, and fulfill my need for "catching up" before I post the most recents. Enjoy!
