I'm so excited that I finally got a chance to do a maternity session! The pregnant body is so beautiful and it was such an honor to capture these images for Maria and her husband. They already booked their newborn session, so I'll be seeing them back in a few weeks and I can't wait. I have a feeling their little guy is going to be absolutely adorable! I had the opportunity to photograph the most adorable little one year old. Jackson was such a sweetie and was probably one of my easiest sessions to date. He was so happy and relaxed and just let me do my thing smiling away the entire time. One year olds are so much fun and I had a great time with him. I had the pleasure of working with the adorable little Marley this past Sunday. (Doesn't she have the greatest name?) She was such a wonderful little sleeper and after a quick feed gave me a good hour of bendy posing fun! I just love it when they turn into putty in my hands, it makes my job so fun! This past weekend I got the opportunity to photograph a newborn for a family I photographed back in the fall. They are a gorgeous family and of course created an equally gorgeous little girl. Brenna was such a sweetie and although she wasn't quite as sleepy as she would have been in her first week of life, she slept in enough bursts that I was able to take advantage of it and get some great shots. I had the pleasure of going out for a photoshoot with my beautiful niece and sister in law. We had a lot of fun and I enjoyed being able to spend time with them doing what I love. Last Saturday I had the honor and pleasure of photographing my Aunt's wedding. It was a beautiful and small family affair that took place at my parents home. Before the ceremony we did wedding portraits at the stunning Four Seasons Resort Aviara in Carlsbad. It was a gorgeous backdrop for this even more gorgeous couple. I couldn't be happier for my Aunt Cheryl and her new husband Olan. They have definitely found true love and it was an amazing thing to witness. I'm not a wedding photographer, but I hope I was able to do your wedding and love for one another justice. Congratulations Cheryl & Olan, may you live happily ever after!

After baby Wright's 1 year session we headed over to Jack's Pond for a mini family session. They have fixed that place up and it is so nice! It provided a beautiful backdrop and we hardly explored it. I definitely can't wait to go back and shoot there again .

My best friends little guy had his first birthday and I finally got him in my studio for his 1 year portraits! He's so adorable and I could just photograph him all day. We had originally planned for a smash cake session... but after his birthday party we realized that wouldn't be a good idea with his obvious dislike for cake. Instead I got this new basket just for this occasion and he loved it. He actually cried when we took him out which was pretty funny. Thanks so much for bringing him over Leah & Sam. Sneak Peek – Newborn Baby Alana

I was so excited when I got an email saying my next newborn had been born and was ready for a session. It’s been nice having some time off, but I really missed being behind the camera. I had so much fun and this family was just too sweet and overjoyed to have this little one in their lives. Alana is just beautiful and was such a good little girl. She slept, curled up, and even smiled in her sleep like a champ. I’m so glad to be back and I hope the new Mommy and Daddy love what I captured.
